Gary Oldman cried after winning his Screen Actors Guild Award in Los Angeles. The British star picked up the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for his portrayal of Sir Winston Churchill in the acclaimed war-drama 'The Darkest Hour'. And Oldman couldn't hide his emotions as he paid tribute to the "giants of acting" within the Shrine Auditorium. The 59-year-old star hailed the likes of Robert DeNiro, Morgan Freeman and his "old sparring partner" Denzel Washington during his acceptance speech. And Oldman ended his time on stage with a quote from the late UK Prime Minister, saying: "Churchill reminds us we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give."
